Shoshana Weingarten

Born in 1950 in Bucharest Romania, immigrated to lsrael in 1958.
Married, mother of two, grandmother of four.
Began to paint at young age, learning in different painting classes.
After she was married she studied Graphics at the Technion extension in Tel Aviv and in parallel studied Drawing at the Avni School.
In addition she studied silk screen printing, ceramic and sculpting, "The Art of the Twentieth Century" course at the Open University and "Evaluating Art" at "Roots" gallery.
Over the years she was mentored by painters such as Suzy Rosenthal and Anat Ben-Shaul.
In the last fifteen years Shoshana has participated in the Free Painting Workshop at Shazar House in Givataim and was tutored by the Painter Jacob Zim in the first few years.
Shoshana is a member of the Painters and Sculptors Society of Ramat-Gan and Givataim.
Until now she had eleven solo exhibitions in Isreal and abroad, and took part in many group exhibitions.
In the Year 2014 Shoshana won first place at the "Lions", Ramat-Gan art competition.
