1. WORLD ART GAMES (GAMES 2013)
GENERAL RULES AND BASIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION:
• OPEN CALL - PARTICIPATE can artists of all art categories and disciplines, from all around the World.
I. HOW TO APPLY:
• HOW TO APPLY - by sending CV's ( one short - only one page / second - without limitations), own photo and photo of the work(s) / exhibit(s) for the Games (sculpture, picture, ceramic, art photo,...), to e-mail address: games2013@wagames.org
• SELECTION – special WAG HQ ART COMMISSION will select participants according to the quality of work(s) and CV (*).
Applications received from artists whose States have a legally registered WAG National Committees will be provided to NC's (they are also selectors of National cultural team).
II. REGISTRATION:
Artists which applications select our Art Commission can register themselves, by follow instructions:
FIRST STEP:
• REGISTRATION FEE – artists selected by Commission for registration have to submit immediately Registration fee of 200 EUR. If artist cancel participation, 200 EUR paid at registration will be not returned.
As soon as we receive Registration fee payment, we will send you OFFICIAL INVITATION FOR THE GAMES-2013, usable for raising funds to cover participation costs.
Artists/NC members (maximum 5 per NC) don't have to pay Registration fee. After they officially register themselves - they will receive Official invitation, too.

SECOND STEP:
Participants have to decide which option for accommodation will choose: option 1 or option 2
OPTION 1: EUR 1.200 have to be submitted latest March 31, 2013 (covers 11 half-boards accommodation in double rooms, minimum 3*hotel, transfer from Zagreb airport arrival / departure to the potential destination in host cities, CV and photo in WAG Book – 1.World Art Games 2013, promo material, art exhibits insurance in Croatia, space - exhibition halls, concert halls, theaters )
NOTE for Option 1:
For artists / participants at the Games who choose OPTION 1, the cost of inner transport and one excursion – is free of charge
OPTION 2: EUR 400 have to be submitted latest March 31, 2013. In that case participants have to organize their own accommodation, food and transport inside Croatia (to the city host destination). Fee amount covers only CV and photo in WAG Book – 1.World Art Games 2013, promo material, art exibits insurance in Croatia, space - exhibition halls, concert halls, theaters. WARNING: Period of the Games in Croatia is holiday season. We kindly ask you to make necessary reservations as soon you will know in which city will be your art category.
OPTION 3 (additional for OPTION 1): for those artists who choose OPTION 1 and want to take with them some family members or friends – we offer to organize accommodation (half board) in the same hotel. By registration have to be submitted 200 EUR per guest, to WAG. This amount will be deducted from the total price for theirs accommodation, means WAG will submits 200 EUR for them to the hotel, where they will be accommodated. The family members or friends will pay only the difference, directly in hotel.
NOTE for Option 3:
for family members or friends, for inner transport in Croatia (by arrival and departure) and one excursion, have to be submitted amount of 170 EUR to WAG, too, till March 31, 2013.

IMPORTANT:
• TRAVEL COST – artists have to cover in total the cost of arrival and departure at the Games, till airport Zagreb
• TRANSPORT OF EXHIBITS - artists have to cover the cost of sending art-works (max. 2 works) for exhibitions, administrative taxes and insurance during the trip. Exhibits have to be in Croatia / Zagreb (address will be given later) before the Games / between June 1 - June 10, 2013. On the departure, July 10, artists who exhibited can take their works with them, or donate them to WAG (which have to be defined in application).
• Participant artists have to be present at the Games from June 29 - July 10, for performances and contact with media and public
(*) SPECIAL NOTES FOR NATIONAL COMMITTEES:
1. to those National Committees who are legally registered will be provided all applications of artists from their State
2. National Cultural Teams with 30 or more participants will be accommodated in the same Host City during the Games 2013, regardless of different art disciplines
